Course Description This course is a two-semester, required one for DFLL students. Based on the foundation students have already acquired in the 1st yr. (paragraph writing), we will concentrate on essay writing. I intend to start this Fall with a review and a mutual understanding about what students have learned in English Composition (I). Then I will proceed to reach an agreement on the amount of assignment each week. The ultimate goal is to get students familiarized with different types of essays and with research paper mechanism for those interested students (optional).
