Course Description Intercultural communication refers to the communication between people of different ethnicity, social group, culture, gender, etc. In intercultural communication, people can exchange, mediate and negotiate cultural differences by means of gestures, verbal or body language. The course aims to encourage students to converse and communicate within the context of chosen topics: nation, ethnicity, gender. These topics will be discussed in references of paintings, advertisement, TV series and movies for students to see similarities and differences among nations and cultures.

**This course encourages the learner to participate actively in English group discussions & presentations. Handouts, worksheets and reading materials would be mainly English version. Therefore, suggested English level for this course would be CEFR B1,B2 and/or above.
