(Eng.) Organic Chemistry
Offering Dept Department of Chemistry
Course Type Elective Credits 3 Teacher LEE, SHAO-CHI
Department General Language English Semester 2025-SPRING
Course Description The course will be structured around the classification of organic compounds, covering topics such as acyclic and cyclic compounds, alkyl halides, and unsaturated hydrocarbons (alkenes and alkynes) on a weekly basis. Nomenclature and related reaction types will be integrated into each topic. Once a foundational understanding is established, the course will delve into more advanced and significant areas of organic chemistry, including radical reactions and conjugated systems.
