Course Description 本系列課程會簡介教育數據的常見格式,及如何在圖形化介面(GUI)中下指令操作這些數據。
雖然Excel簡單易用,但Excel的工作表太小了,不見得能裝得下我們真的要處理的教育數據。如教育大數據分析計畫辦公室提供之教育大數據微學程教學用開放資料就無法直接匯入單一工作表中。所幸Microsoft Office提供同樣簡單易用的Access資料庫,它不僅被設計以處理巨量資料,提供介面讓人自由轉換滑鼠操作和結構化查詢語言(SQL),還提供工具自動分析數據進行正規化,以自動化第一單元中學會的資料庫基本概念。
In the series of Database System (I), (II), and (III), we will introduce educational data sets, its common formats and methods to handle these data via graphical user interfaces (GUI) and programs.
Although Excel are quite user friendly, its Worksheets might be too small to contain the educational data. For example, the educational open data provided by educational big data analysis plan office is too large to import into a single worksheet. Fortunately, Microsoft Office also includes another database software, Access, which provides not only a way to switch between Design and SQL Views, but also a data analysis tool for normalization. Therefore, we could further automate the concepts learned in Database System (I) via an easy-to-use software.
