Course Description This course provides students with an in-depth understanding of composite materials, which are composed of two or more components. These materials exhibit extraordinary properties compared to the individual components. This course covers the applications of composites, types of reinforcements and matrix materials, the reinforcement/matrix interface, the design and manufacturing of composites, and their mechanical properties and testing methods.

這門課程提供了對複合材料的深入了解。複合材料是由兩種或兩種以上材料組成的多相材料。這些材料通常會比單一成分的材料表現出更好的性能。課程內容包括複合材料的應用、填料和基體材料的種類、填料/基體界面、複合材料的設計和製造，以及其機械性能和測試方法。
