Course Description 有興趣瞭解植物育種概論之同學而開設之英文課程,內容概要介紹自交、異交、常異交及無性繁殖作物的育種方法,其中涉及純系之育成、雜種優勢的利用,最後討論品種命名、推廣程序和種子商業生產之途徑。
This course, designed for students interested in the fundamentals of plant breeding, is conducted in English. It provides an overview of breeding methods for self-pollinated, cross-pollinated, often cross-pollinated, and asexually propagated crops. Topics include pure line development, utilization of hybrid vigor. The course also covers variety naming, promotion processes, and the pathways of commercial seed production.
