Course Description Practical Chinese (IV) is for students who have learned Mandarin before (know at least 500 Chinese characters, have basic grammar knowledge, and are able to write a short paragraph).
The class will focus on communication skills, level III characters, and grammar.
Classes are comprised of listening, speaking, reading, and writing lessons.

The aims of this course are as follows
- Develop the language proficiency required to communicate in Chinese at CEFR A2
- Provide contexts for the acquisition of vocabulary and the study of grammar and structures.
- Read and understand various written and spoken texts on familiar topics.
- Write in Chinese on familiar and everyday topics such as hobbies, phone etiquette, describing appearance, expressing congratulations, etc.
