Course Description The course is designed to familiarize IBPA freshmen with English communication via listening tasks and discussion of various topics. Students are guided to not only improve their comprehension and fluency but also gain understanding of the culture in the English-speaking world. A great amount of homework is expected including dictation of audio tracks, shadowing recordings and video relay (will be further explained as the semester starts)

This course will cultivate listening and speaking skills on a wide spectrum for IBPA freshmen. They will invest a hefty amount of time in homework every week. Besides, they will also be exposed to IELTs and TOEFL iBT listening materials.
