Course Description An extensive overview of animal feeding. Livestock are categorized as ruminants and non-ruminants, with their nutritional metabolism examined accordingly. Non-ruminants focus on the nutrition of pig protein and amino acids, energy metabolism, and the assimilation of vitamins and minerals. Ruminants prioritize rumen metabolism, energy efficiency, nitrogen metabolism, and mineral nutrition.
