Course Description

This class examines the development of IR theory since 1919 and reflects on recent developments in Global IR. Extending from the traditional theories of realism, liberalism and constructivism, the class will also examine feminism and postcolonialism, and adopt a critical approach to unlearn and re-interpret IR as field of study that rests on established historical experiences and materialism.
