Course Description This course develops advanced English listening comprehension for academic and professional contexts using Listening Pro 3 (2nd Edition): Total Mastery of TOEIC Listening Skills by Jamie Blackler. The course trains students to understand extended conversations, workplace discussions, announcements, instructions, and implied meanings typical of the TOEIC Listening test and real workplace communication.
Students will learn to identify key information, speaker intention, inference, tone, and pragmatic meaning. Emphasis is placed on listening strategies such as prediction, note-taking, shadowing, and recognizing paraphrases and distractors. Through repeated practice, students improve processing speed, accuracy, and confidence in real-time listening.

Final Project — Brand & Logo Design Pitch
Project Title: Create Your Brand: Product Identity & Logo Pitch
Purpose: The goal of this project is to apply English listening and speaking skills to a realistic workplace task. Students will design a new brand and present it as if they were pitching to a company or investors. Students must clearly explain ideas, respond to questions in real time, and demonstrate professional communication without reading a script.

Task Description: Students will work in groups of 2–3 to create an original product, service, or company.
They must design a brand identity and logo, then present and defend their idea in English.
The presentation simulates a business pitch meeting.
Students must prepare:
1. A brand name
2. A company background
3. A logo design (digital or hand-drawn)
4. A target market
5. A product/service description
6. A marketing message (slogan)
Evaluation
Grade Distribution:
Attendance & Participation: 35% (better not be absent more than 3 times),
