Course Description Annually, during the summer, this course is orchestrated by esteemed faculty from NCHU. A select group of students from the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources are afforded the opportunity to engage with our sister institutions in Thailand. This initiative not only broadens their academic horizons but also immerses them in international lectures and hands-on experiences. The curriculum is punctuated with visits to distinguished farms across various nations, enriching students' understanding of specialized horticultural crops and the nuances of the respective local industries.

This course is held before the formal registration begins. Students not selected for this particular course are advised to abstain from registering.

Week Course Content
Week 1 Location: Kasetsart University (Bangkok)
Duration: During the summer break: 10-14 days.

Each year, by the end of March, the university and the Department of Horticulture will update their websites with announcements pertaining to study content and essential notices. The selection process is slated for mid-April. By May, students should anticipate handling flight bookings and visa arrangements. Early June will see a series of pre-departure briefings and preparatory sessions. After their return, students are expected to submit their reports within a month. As the new semester kicks off, we'll host a presentation session complemented by a micro-film showcase.

It's important to note that students are primarily responsible for covering their expenses.

Week 4 Short-term agricultural internship training in collaboration
