****** IMPORTANT NOTES ******
(a) There are projects and assignments to be completed by students. Term project is mandatory. Each student has to complete a term project individually. Assignments will be given every two or three weeks. Assignment submissions are not mandatory. Scores obtained from assignments are bonuses. They are marked up top of your project score.

(b) AI tools, like ChatGPT or Google Bard, are allowed to be used in completion of your project and assignments. However, students have to assure that the contents generated by the tools are correct. Nevertheless, each student has to be so sure that he/she understands all words being generated, especially those technical terms.

(c) Use of any AI tool for paraphrasing is highly recommended.

(d) Students should bring with their paper notebooks to take notes during the lectures.

(e) Code of conducts for this class will be emphasized in the first lecture.

(f) Please do not add this course if (1) you do not know how much effort to be put in completing the project and/or the assignments; (2) you have already planned to skip class during the semester; or (3) you do not want to share any of your experience or knowledge in the class.

(g) iLearning platform is not used for posting teaching materials. All teaching materials are post on the course homepage (https://john.digi-pack.io/IT/ITM2024_Spring.html).
