Course Description 細胞膜對細胞表面形成一個疏水性的障蔽以維持細胞質內生化物質的濃度恆定,然而細胞在與外界溝通或是交換物質的時候,需要一些細胞膜上的蛋白質來協助水溶性小分子穿透細胞膜的障蔽。因此膜蛋白在細胞生理,營養物質的交換,訊息傳遞,免疫系統上都具有非常重要的角色。人類基因定序預測30%的基因轉錄成膜蛋白,長久以來,膜蛋白亦被藥廠視為重要的藥物標的物,目前50%市售的藥物皆是針對膜蛋白而設計開發的。因此瞭解膜蛋白的功能及結構有助於瞭解很多很多基礎細胞生理的問題。本課程將針對膜蛋白的生理功能,結構分類,生化儀器的使用及未來在藥理及臨床的應用做深入的探討。
