Course Description Writing is a very important part of science; it is used to document and communicate ideas, activities and findings to others. This guide focuses on scientific writing for academic course work, much of which is devoted to describing and explaining.

There will be one written assignment. Grades will be awarded based on the following weights:
Abstracts (Writing practice) 30%
In Class Discussions: 50%
Final Assignment: 20%
