Course Description This class is intended to introduce the advanced student to the nature of plant-microbe interactions at molecular and genetics aspects through group discussion.

The class helps graduates develop skills for critical analysis of scientific literature and effective communication while exploring current topics in plant pathology.

Week Course Content
Week 1 Discussion (English only) will focus on recent papers (last 3 years) from high impact journals in plant-microbe interactions. Articles will be sent to students via e-mail one week before class. Students have to read the articles carefully prior to meeting. Each student is expected to make a 30-min presentation. PowerPoint is not required.
