| Course Description |
This course provides an in-depth and critical examination of advanced concepts in animal nutrition with emphasis on metabolic, physiological, and molecular mechanisms governing nutrient utilization in livestock species. Advanced topics including nutritional biomarkers, immunonutrition, nutrigenomics, functional feed additives, sustainable feeding strategies, and alternatives to antibiotic growth promoters are critically evaluated using current scientific literature. |

| The objective of this course is to provide advanced knowledge of animal nutrition with emphasis on the physiological, biochemical, and molecular mechanisms of nutrient utilization in livestock. It further seeks to introduce emerging concepts such as nutritional biomarkers, immunonutrition, nutrigenomics, functional feed additives, and sustainable feeding strategies, while strengthening students’ abilities to critically evaluate scientific literature, design evidence-based nutritional approaches, and communicate research findings effectively in scholarly formats. |
