Course Description The course is designed to equip students with the latest rhetorical and communication skills to develop and organize an academic presentation in English. Theories will be introduced on Academic presentations, students will be given ample opportunities to practice these skills in class, learn to observe and give feedbacks, and watch and discuss from famous presenters around the world.

To prepare students with different aspects of giving a successful academic presentation, from effective body language, use of different voice projections, designing and explaining their visual aids, to a detailed guidance to the structuring of their presentation. This is done through pair work, group work, and finally an individual 8 minutes presentation for the final exam.
