Course Description This lecture course will cover aspects of cellular biology that are fundamental to our understanding of plant growth, differentiation and development. This course designed to help students understand fundamental knowledge of structures and functions of different intracellular organelles.


Topics include: Membrane structure and membranous organelles; The cell wall; Membrane transport; Protein sorting and vesicle traffic; The cytoskeleton; Techniques of modern cell biology.
