Course Description The course presents the fundamentals of probability theory and random processes, focusing on fundamental analytical techniques for modeling, analyzing, and processing electrical signals and computer data in the presence of noise and randomness with applications to communications, signal and image processing, and data compression.

Prerequisite : Probability, linear algebra, and an introductory signal processing course.
