Course Description Occupational safety covers a wide range of topics and spans a broad range of fields. The new processes and materials in modern economies have led to the frequent occurrence of occupational accidents, occupational diseases, and even deaths related to overworking. One of the main purposes of occupational safety education is to prevent disastrous losses. Understanding the potential risks in the work environment can increase the awareness of operators. For example, preventive inspections can reduce or prevent the possibility of workplace accidents, such as fires and explosions, and promote a safer and more efficient work environment. This course aims to lay the foundation of occupational safety knowledge and prioritize prevention over protection.
