Course Description This course provides a fundamental knowledge in scientific writing by using practical examples and encourage students to become confident writers. The contents of the course are fourfold: (1) emphasizing the significance of scientific writing, tips for making the writing process easier, (2) How to prepare a manuscript: manuscript organization and things to avoid, (3) Issues in scientific writing (plagiarism, authorship, predatory journals). This is also a hands-on course that include editing exercises of manuscript examples.
