Course Description This is advanced course on international political economy, which examines the interaction between political and economic phenomena on an international and global scale. The term “international political economy” has been successively associated with the international economics, the international relation theories, and comparative politics.

This course is designed to help students to gain knowledge and understanding on how international political economy works, how political relations between states affect domestic and international economics, and how the economic relations between states affect domestic and international politics. The course is designed not just to familiarize you with the literature, but also to stimulate students' curiosity to pursue new questions. An important goal of the course is also to equip you with the analytical tools.
