Course Description Course Description This is an upper-intermediate course designed to enhance undergraduate students’ English listening and speaking abilities for a variety of purposes. In particular, students will improve their speaking skills for day-to-day vernacular uses. They will also acquire the ability to extract and analyze the main points in an academic speaking and provide their perspective for the topic.In addition, advanced grammar used for formal occasions will also be introduced to help students organize their ideas concisely and accurately.

The aim of the tour is to develop the skills of listening and speaking. For the first half of the semester, listening is focused while speaking is the focus of the second half of the semester. Not only do students have to understand the content of the recording, but they also have to be able to summarize it and understand how to develop an idea.
