Course Description This course provides a comprehensive approach to enhance students’ English speaking competence. In addition to the accuracy as well as fluency in speaking, students will also manage the development of how oral communication involves critical thinking and decision making throughout this course. Students are expected to be equipped with the ability to process information from different sources so as to support their opinions in conversations.

Requirement: Create a 5-slide visual presentation and upload it to the iLearning by June 12th as a final synthesis of your learning.
* Include a recorded audio narration for your slides to demonstrate your oral proficiency.
Evaluation
1. class participation (55%)
2. midterm & final exams (20+25%)
3. You are allowed to be absent for 6 hours at most for any reasons this semester.
Being late for over 20 min/leaving 20 min early is seen as absenteeism.
If you’re absent for 7 hours, 7 points will be deducted from the semester score.
If you’re absent for 8 hours, 10 points will be deducted from the semester score.
If you’re absent for 9 hours, 15 points will be deducted from the semester score.
If you’re absent for 10 hours, 20 points will be deducted from the semester score, and so on.
