Course Description 本課程將介紹微觀分子尺度的演化生物學,課程涵蓋分子演化研究的基礎概念、分子序列資料處理、分子演化的模型、分子親緣譜系重建、分子定年、常用的分子演化軟體、及以分子親緣關係為基礎的演化分析方法。學生須自備電腦以供操作分析使用。建議修習同學有分子生物學或遺傳學基礎。
This course introduces evolutionary biology at the molecular level. It covers fundamental concepts in molecular evolution, sequence data analysis, models of molecular evolution, molecular phylogenetic reconstruction, molecular dating, commonly used software for molecular phylogenetics, and research methods based on molecular phylogenetic frameworks. Students are required to bring their own laptops for hands-on data analysis during the course. Prior coursework or background in molecular biology or genetics is recommended.
