Course Description Integrated circuit (IC) refers to the integration of a large number of electronic components on a silicon chip through microelectronics manufacturing technology. In addition to passive components such as resistors, capacitors and inductors, diodes and transistors are the most basic semiconductor components. The main purpose of this course is to systematically introduce the basic principles, structures, characteristics and related applications of diodes and transistor, so that students can have basic knowledge of basic electronic components. In addition to the introduction of the basic principles and structures of diodes and transistors, the main axis of the course also includes the analysis and design of the application circuits of these two components. Therefore; students need to have the basic knowledge of circuit analysis and design, and the main prerequisite course is electrical engineering.
