Course Description 針對上過流行病學基本法則的課或未上過之同學,先利用二個小時講解有關流行病學之基本概念,接著因為本門為高等流行病學課程,故將教授有關高等流行病學之研究設計及分析方法,尤其著重在流行病學在獸醫衛生方面的應用及實例講解,並介紹不同的流行病學研究方法,包括生命統計、生態研究、觀察性研究法、調查法、血清流行病學,疾病監測及最新分子流行病學等,到最後如何進行因果相關之探討。本課程強調實用性的流行病學,故對基本觀念的建立,資料的取得與分析,希望以活潑戶動式的方式來進行討論。期末評分方法以實際運用真實的流行病學資料,進行分析並撰寫期末及上台報告,內容包括運用五個W: What, Why, Where, When and How及結果與討論,目的希望同學能運用活潑的思維及嚴謹的科學推理來進行資料的探討與研究,而達到高等教育培育人才的目的。
