Course Description This introductory course in English Etymology is designed for non-native speakers. Students will explore the complicated yet fascinating origins of English words and how the language has evolved over time. By studying roots and affixes of different origins, students will acquire tools to expand their vocabulary and gain a better understanding of the history behind contemporary English words. The course is tailored to be accessible and engaging for those new to the topic.
