This course provides an opportunity to develop a deep understanding of physiological mechanisms and functions across diverse animal species. It also allows students to become familiar with various species and how they modify their physiological responses to environmental changes. By encountering diverse animal species in the future, students will be able to recognize and distinguish adaptive responses from progressive disease.
