Course Description This course is an introduction to the etymology of some English words, through which students will learn the family of some of the words, and how they have envolved.

This course aims to equip students with some basic knowledge concerning the prefixes / suffixes and other components of the words we use -- and also the history behind them sometimes. It will help students build their vocabulary bank and have a better understanding of the words and their connotations.
