Week Course Content
Week 1 Class introduction
This course builds on the question-centered approach with more critical thinking, up-to-date topics and videos like science, psychology and technology to help students analyze, synthesize and develop ideas. A research-based vocabulary program focuses on the words students need to know academically and professionally.
The topics include:
1. Sociology- Are first impressions accurate?
2. Nutritional Science- Why do we change the foods we eat?
3. Psychology- In what ways is change good or bad?
4. Marketing- How does advertising affect our behavior?
