• The course emphasizes the development of critical perspectives on how language shapes cultural practices and worldviews, particularly from the standpoint of English learners navigating diverse cultural contexts. Through readings, films, case studies, and group projects, students will analyze how cultural meanings are constructed, negotiated, and contested across different contexts.
