Course Description The course is designed to take NCHU students’ overall English level to the next level, including speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. In terms of reading and writing skills, we’ll read CNBC News articles of the day and do paraphrasing and summarizing tasks on selected paragraphs. In terms of listening and speaking, we used materials in our textbooks. Extra activities like NBC nightly news blank filling exercise and VR (video relay; listening to and shadowing Youtube videos) will also be included through this semester. Each student will also have to give one oral presentation with slides and without notes.
