(Eng.)
Make students master the basic assumptions and deformation models of mechanics of materials, and familiar with the principles of internal stress-strain diagrams. The final goal of this course is to learn how to estimate the lifetime and the durability of a product or a material system and suggest a selection rule of available materials based on the concept of mechanics from the perspective of material mechanical properties. |
