Course Description Biomedical science is one of the broad areas of science that involves biological processes, laboratory research, innovation, and to develop beneficial products, medications and procedures to treat and cure diseases and conditions that cause severe illness and death. Current progress in research and development in the field of nanotechnology, genetic engineering, biomaterials and artificial intelligence were achieved new milestones, which enables and ensure our life expectancy. In this course, we introduce the basic concept of biomedicine and its applications to the students whose major subjects are not biomedical Sciences. The appreciation of videos, scientific movies and films, biotech company visiting, and group discussion will be also applied to the course. Students will easily learn the state of the art knowledge of biomedical sciences and their applications in medical industry.
