Course Description The course focuses on advanced reaction types and mechanistic principles in organic chemistry. Building on prior knowledge of functional groups and structure, topics include aromaticity and aromatic substitution reactions, carbonyl chemistry, amines and heterocycles, as well as reactions involving enolates and conjugated systems. Emphasis is placed on reaction mechanisms, selectivity, and strategic bond formation, with advanced concepts such as radical reactions introduced where appropriate.
