Course Description The objective of this course is to provide an introduction to the fundamentals of omics and their application in academic research and drug discovery. Students will acquire a comprehensive understanding of various methodologies for exploring genomics, transcriptomics, epigenomics, and proteomics, along with their relevance to pharmaco-omics. A culminating requirement of the course is the submission of a final report. In this report, students are tasked with selecting a specific disease and formulating a drug discovery plan that incorporates the omic technologies introduced throughout the course.
