This course is designed to equip graduate students with the fundamental communication skills necessary for success in academic and professional settings where English is the medium of teaching and communication. Students will gain expertise in academic writing, presentations, networking, and interpersonal communication, among other areas of professional communication, through engaging lectures, group discussions, and hands-on training. Additionally, the course includes organizing a research conference to serve as avenue for delivering presentations that effectively communicate research findings and engage diverse audiences.

This course will:
1. provide students with strategies on effective communication to build professional relationships, engage in academic discussions, and participate effectively in presentations in seminars and conferences.
2. provide opportunities tor students to develop inter-cultural communication, give and receive feedback on their communication skills;
3. communicate confidently and effectively in English, both within their academic studies and in their future professional careers.
