Course Description Ecology is one of the essential elements to understand how the nature works. During this course the lecturer will introduce the background of ecology, including the relationships between organisms and the environment in hierarchical levels, from individuals, populations, communities to biosphere. Students who attend this course need to actively participate in discussions and conduct a project as an ecological guide. Students will be assigned into groups and decide their ecological projects. By the end of the semester, each group needs to design a leaflet, organise a trip for the class to visit their project site, and be ecological guides for the whole class.
