Course Description Course Objective and Description:

Oral Training I is a foundational course designed to develop the spoken English skills of first-year English majors. Through structured practice in pronunciation, intonation, and conversational strategies, this course helps students build confidence and fluency in everyday and academic communication. The course emphasizes active participation in a variety of speaking tasks, including imitations, dialogues, and presentations. Students will also engage in listening activities to model natural speech patterns and improve comprehension. By the end of the course, students are expected to demonstrate improved clarity, coherence, and spontaneity in spoken English.
