The primary goal of this course is to develop the English reading competence of first-year undergraduate students. Upon completion of the course, students are expected to acquire: (1) the ability to understand English spoken in a range of professional, social, and cultural settings and (2) the ability to read and understand articles across various subjects. All students are required to prepare lessons before class. |
