Course Description This course seeks to help students develop better English reading and listening skills. And Provide students opportunities for oral presentation so that they would not be shy of speaking.

1. Help students meet the requirement of passing Gept high-intermediate level test, or its equivalents, such as TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, on reading and listening. Oral practices to express their own ideas in English.

1. Mid-term+ final: 40%
2. Attendance+ classroom performance + bonus oral presentation: 20% (2% deduction for each absence or extreme tardiness; extra points added for a well-prepared group oral presentation; classroom discussions will be observed and graded.)
3. Quizzes + digital week assignment 25%
4. 112學年度後測成績佔學期總成績15%;將決定同學是否通過英語畢業門檻。
5. If you want to convert my final grade to a letter grade, the following is the conversion chart American Universities usually adopt: A+= over 95, A= over 90, A- = 85-89, B+ = 80-84, B = 75-79, B- = 70-74, C= 65.
