Course Description 1 Help students meet the requirement of passing GEPT high-intermediate level test, or its equivalents, like TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, on reading and listening (CEFR B2-C1).

Evaluation
Grades:
1. Mid-term+ final: 50%
2. Attendance+ classroom performance: 20% (2% deduction for each absence or extreme tardiness; extra points added for a well-prepared group oral presentation; classroom discussions will be observed and graded.)
3. Quizzes: 10%
4. 112學年度後測成績佔學期總成績10%;將決定同學是否通過英語畢業門檻。
5. English Score: 10% (If you take the test, you will get this 10 percent no matter how bad your scores are.)
6. If you want to convert my final grade to a letter grade, the following is the conversion chart American Universities usually adopt: A+ ≥ 95, A≥ 90, A-≥ 85-89, B+≥ 80-84, B ≥75-79, B- ≥70-74, C≥ 65, D/F<60.
