The primary goal of this course is to develop the English communicative competence of first-year undergraduate students. Upon completion of the course, students are expected to acquire: (1) the ability to express themselves in everyday conversations; (2) the ability to deliver a three-minute speech on a specific topic in English; (3) the ability to understand English spoken in a range of professional, social, and cultural settings; (4) the ability to read and understand articles across various subjects. All students are required to prepare lessons before class. |
