Course Description This course consists of listening and reading specifics. The listening component aims to expose students to a variety of authentic English news reports that will allow them to comprehend English language about everyday topics. The reading component is skill-based which empowers the students with the skills needed to achieve academic success and builds the students’ language proficiency.

1. To provide the students with a non-threatening learning environment. The students increase their confidence in using English and improve their ability to apply the knowledge of the English language they have acquired in high school.
