Course Description This course is designed to develop students’ academic English competence with a primary focus on listening and reading skills, while maintaining integrated practice in speaking and discussion. The course guides students to engage with academic-oriented texts and lectures, helping them identify key ideas, discourse structures, and commonly used academic vocabulary and expressions. Classroom activities will include pre-listening/reading tasks, comprehension checks, group discussion, and short oral responses. The course culminates in a final academic-style presentation, allowing students to synthesize information from listening and reading materials and present it in a structured and coherent manner.
