Course Description The course is designed to build students’ academic listening and reading skills in English for effective participation in higher education, particularly in contexts where English is the language of instruction. It emphasizes the development of core academic abilities through active engagement with a range of texts. Students will expand their vocabulary knowledge, strengthen their understanding of sentence structure and textual organization, and practice identifying main ideas, supporting details, and key arguments. The course also encourages critical thinking by guiding students to interpret, evaluate, and respond thoughtfully to information presented in spoken and written academic materials.

The course aims to achieve the following objectives:
