課程簡述 This course aims to familiarize students with the essentials of effective public speaking. Students explore topic selection, speech organization, analysis of material and audience, and use of visual aids, and practice preparing and delivering various types of speeches. In addition, skills in overcoming nervousness, and developing confidence and a dynamic verbal profile in oral presentations will be covered.

Upon completion of the course, students will understand the importance of body language and voice inflection, and being able to use them effectively while presenting their opinions logically and confidently on presentations of different topics.

學習評量方式
1. Attendance 20% (You are allowed to miss 6 hours at most for justifiable reasons (i.e. illness, family emergencies, or important occasions such as religious holidays, or job interviews)
2. Class participation 20%
3. 4 speaking assignments 60% (15% for each speaking assignment)
