(Eng.) The traditional noncoding RNAs such as ribosomal RNA, tRNA and small nucleolar RNA control the pivotal processes required for cell survival and growth. With the advance of molecular biology and bioinformatic analyses, there are few more classes of noncoding RNAs discovered in the past decade. This course will cover the topic of RNA interference, microRNA and circular RNA. In addition, the new emerging field of epitranscriptomics which coined from the epigenetics will discuss the differentially processed RNA molecules with particular modification. Through completing the course, the students would gain advanced knowledge about the functional roles of noncoding RNA, and the ability to incorporate these materials and ideals into their own current works or careers in the near future.
